Bhagwan meri naiya, us paar laga dena,
Ab tak to nibhaya hai, aage bhi nibha dena.

Hum deen dukhi nirdhan, nit naam japein pratipal,
Yeh soch daras doge, prabhu aaj nahi to kal.
Jo baag lagaya hai, phoolon se saja dena.
Bhagwan meri naiya...

Tum shanti sudhakar ho, tum gyan diwakar ho,
Mam hans chuge moti, tum mansarovar ho.
Do boond sudha ras ki, hum ko bhi pila dena.

This bhajan uses the metaphor of a boat ("naiya") in a turbulent sea to represent a person's life journey through the worldly ocean (Bhavsagar).
